Menzies (2013)
This sculpture is on Menzies Walk on the north side of the central basin of Lake Burley Griffin. Menzies was Prime Minister briefly before and during the first months of World War II, and then from 1949 to 1966. For the first few weeks I worked in the Commonwealth public service he was Prime Minister, as he had been since our arrival in Australia. The sculpture, like the ones of Curtin and Chifley, is slightly larger than life size. It sold early (and could have been sold often if there were more than one) at my most recent exhibition.
